Abstract

As the Australian Dictionary of Biography celebrates its 50th birthday we include the speeches given by general editor Melanie Nolan, ANU Vice-Chancellor Ian Chubb and Barry Jones at the anniversary celebrations on 1 December. We also include the citations for the ADB Medals awarded to Ann Rand and Helen Jones.
